Capella Singapore is one of the most luxurious accommodations in Asia, and it is in the beautiful Sentosa Island of Singapore, just off the shore in Palawan Beach 30 minutes away from the Changi Airport.
The location alone is peaceful because of the lush green forest of 30 acres. It gives a modern, yet colonial heritage styled vibe with the buildings dating back to the 1800s and through the contemporary designs done by the Foster Partners, who are known for their innovative architecture. All 61 rooms and the 51 suites have an Asian blend with soothing colour palettes, floor to ceiling windows and elegant wooden furnishings as they were designed by the Indonesian designer Jaya Ibrahim.
The highlight is, of course, the massive balconies of the suites and rooms of Capella, particularly the Constellation Room which have a jacuzzi in the room so that the guests can enjoy a tropical spa bath while admiring the stunning views of the South China Sea. The Constellation Room starts at $700 on average/per night. There are king-sized beds to accommodate two people and the jacuzzi is on an outdoor terrace. The Darling was designed by world-famous architects Steelman Partners, and the luxurious suites were done by the Probuild construction company of Australia. The interiors are jaw-dropping because of the marble black ceiling and the glass beads draping from it, just like the tentacles resembling a poisonous yet beautiful jellyfish.
The Darling has 17 stories and of course, the highlight is its 57 luxurious suites each having different features ranging in size from 750 square feet to 500 square feet. With all its exceptional facilities, Darling is the only hotel in Sydney to receive the 5-star rating of Forbes! However, if you want a jacuzzi in the room, you should book one of the 35 Jewel Suites. It will cost about $750 per night if you stay here.
