MGallery, The Heritage Hotel FERMAI, Split
Heritage Hotel FERMAI will join the MGallery Hotel Collection. It will be a peaceful oasis in the bustling heart of Split, offering 35 luxurious and modern rooms, Café FERMAI and a garden terrace. The hotel will join MGallery’s international collection of boutique hotels following franchise agreement between the world leading hospitality group Accor and Quatro Company.
A pearl of Art Nouveau in the Mediterranean
The very first MGallery in Split is housed in an exceptional one-hundred-year-old building, which is one of the rare examples of Art Nouveau architecture in the city. Completed in 1914, it is an architectural masterpiece designed by Croatian architect Petar Senjanović, who brought Viennese Art Nouveau to Split. With its sophisticated and urban feel and its Mediterranean-style warmth, the hotel offers a unique experience in the heart of this Dalmatian town.
Croatia and especially Split are the perfect place for anyone looking for a dream summer holiday getaway. It is our pleasure to introduce this unique brand to Dalmatia. Each MGallery hotel provides its guests with memorable moments and calming well-being rituals. The Heritage Hotel FERMAI will offer the most authentic experience of Mediterranean culture to travelers coming to Split from all over the world – says Dilek Sezer, Accor Development Director for South Eastern Europe.
The historical building has been reconstructed and renovated with the utmost attention to detail and local heritage. Particularly noteworthy are the Art Nouveau elements preserved in their original state to this day, such as the stone staircase with an iron railing and a wooden handrail, the majolica floor and wall geometric-pattern tiles, and simple, geometric joinery.
All the details were created with a touch of elegance and luxury. The classic furniture creates a beautiful ensemble with carefully selected vintage pieces and modern decorations, which are true hallmarks of the property. The cozy interiors feature exquisite decorative lighting, giving it a sculptural feel and further emphasizing the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
“By purchasing a more than 100-year-old Art Nouveau building in the center of Split and renovating it into a first-class Heritage Hotel FERMAI, we are expanding our business interest to the hotel segment. By joining the MGallery network that offers a platform to stand out with its uniqueness, unforgettable experiences, and with the full support from Accor in terms of operations, Heritage Hotel FERMAI aims to raise hotel standards in Split and Dalmatia. The Heritage Hotel FERMAI, as a brand new hotel in a historic building, combining urban surroundings and seaside scenery, the modern and the classic, the luxurious and the common, perfectly matches the collection of MGallery boutique hotels. This is a gorgeous hotel for all lovers of design, architecture, and the Mediterranean. We are convinced that by cooperating with Accor and joining the MGallery family, the Heritage Hotel FERMAI will provide an unforgettable experience for our guests” – says Davina Ljubičić Đirlić, Quatro Company.
