Let's travel to SwitzerlandIn this small country also called the Helvetic Confederation, there are almost as many cantons as there are nations in the European Union. Switzerland is not a member of this Union, as we like to remind their neutrality. Nevertheless, four national languages are spoken in Switzerland, and perhaps many more during the tourist seasons when the magnificent mountainous landscapes and the numerous lakes shape the country.
Switzerland is an incredible hydrological source in Europe where the Rhine, the Rhone, and tributaries of the Danube among others, take their source. Nestled between the Alps, the Jura and the Plateau, the Swiss region is therefore very natural. To recharge your batteries, there's nothing like a visit to Geneva or Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva, or window shopping in Zurich, culture in the capital city of Bern, and tasting local specialties such as melting chocolate in the summer and the best cheeses in a fondue in winter. Beware of prejudices, Switzerland is not only the country of watches and banks, the hikers will tell you two words!
