We arrive in a huge entrance hall decorated with beautiful flowers changed every day. The height of the ceiling is impressive and the various seating areas are inviting for conviviality and relaxation. The grand piano sounds throughout the day. Then when evening comes, local musicians are invited to play in the lounge area on the left when entering. The hotel is in a French colonial style and luxurious, made of wood paneling, large dark leather armchairs and other vintage furniture. It feels small in this huge complex but we are not less well pampered by the staff very welcoming and warm.

The 201 guestrooms, including 36 luxury suites, exude a modern and refined spirit of colonial elegance with parquet floors, warm colors and fine furnishings. Each room has an office area equipped with the latest technologies, such as an LCD TV and an efficient wifi connection. The Opera and Prestige Suites additionally feature a separate living room. The beds are wide and of good quality. Special mention for the duvet in place of the sheet underneath that gives the impression of falling asleep in a cloud! The bathroom is spacious, with double sink, separate toilet and a walk-in shower and bath. It is equipped with Lanvin products. Each room also has a balcony with two armchairs. Choice: view of pool or river. During the day, however, it does not stay very long because of the noise of the engines and the ambient heat. Fortunately, double glazing is excellent.
